Description: Our one day trip to northern Armenia will give you an opportunity to visit the famous mountain lake Sevan, also known as the pearl of Armenia, along with historical monasteries that are included in the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. You will enjoy breathtaking views and learn more about the history of this beautiful country.

YEREVAN – LAKE SEVAN – SEVANAVANK – DILIJAN – HAGHPAT – SANAHIN – YEREVAN

In the morning, drive to The Pearl of Armenia – Lake Sevan. Lake Sevan is known as one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world located at an altitude of 1900 meters above sea level. Visit Sevanavank monastery complex located on a peninsula at the northwestern shore of Lake Sevan. Enjoy magnificent panoramic views from the complex.

Continue to Monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin – UNESCO world heritage sites located in the Lori region. On our way to these monasteries, we will pass beautiful green fields full of colorful flowers and the cozy town of Dilijan. The two monasteries, built between the 10th and 13th centuries, represent the highest flowering of Armenian religious architecture.

Drive back to Yerevan for overnight.
