DESCRIPTION: This four-day tour is the best option in case you have only a couple of days to explore Georgia. Georgia, among other things, is famous for its traditional winemaking that counts almost 8000 years and stunning natural sights. You will be able to see the main wine region in lowlands along with the magnificent Caucasus Mountains in the north.

DAY 1: TBILISI
Start the sightseeing tour of Tbilisi with Holy Trinity Cathedral. The highest church in Georgia whose golden dome can be seen from almost every point of Tbilisi. Continue to the old part of the city and visit the main gems of this historical part of the country:
- Metekhi church - overlooking Mtkvari River from Metekhi cliff. Metekhi dates back to the 13th century, but even before that, there was a smaller church here, built approximately in the 5-6th century.
- Narikala fortress - constructed for defense purposes in the 4th century. Reach the fortress by ropeway. Enjoy stunning views of Tbilisi and walk down to the Meidan Square. Visit Abanotubani – famous for its historic Sulfur Baths.
- Walk through Legvtakhevi canyon to see the beautiful waterfall located in the center of Old Tbilisi.
- Sioni cathedral dates back to the VI century - one of the most important monuments of Georgia, where a symbol of Georgian Christianity, the real cross of St. Nino, is preserved.
From here on, we will continue to walk until the Freedom Square. On the way, we will see the Bridge of Peace, Anchiskhati Basilica and the famous clock tower of Rezo Gabriadze theatre.
DAY 2: TBILISI – SIGHNAGHI – BODBE – TSINANDALI – TELAVI – TBILISI
In the morning, drive to the Kakheti region – famous for its ancient winemaking traditions. First, visit the city of love, Sighnaghi. Located on a lofty hilltop overlooking the Alazani Valley. Most of the defensive wall of the city, with 23 towers, still stands.
Continue to Bodbe monastery - built in the IX century and remodeled in the XVII. Nowadays, it is functioning as a nunnery but has decent facilities for tourists.
Drive to Tsinandali. Visit the XIX century house-museum of famous public figure and poet Alexander Chavchavadze. Walk around the beautiful English Garden surrounding the house. Here you can find a wine cellar where the unique collection of Georgian and European wines are preserved. You will be served with one glass of Tsinandali white wine as a complimentary.
Drive to Telavi, the largest town in Kakheti. Walk around the town.
Drive back to Tbilisi. Drop off at your hotel.
DAY 3: TBILISI – MTSKHETA – ANANURI – KAZBEGI – TBILISI
In the morning, depart to Kazbegi. On the way, visit Jvari monastery – one of the UNESCO world heritage sites in Georgia. It was built in the VI century on a hill overlooking the stunning confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers.
Next, visit Ananuri fortress. The beautiful complex includes two churches with richly decorated facades, several towers and defense walls. All these buildings, with a view of Zhinvali reservoir, creates the most picturesque panorama.
Continue driving along the Georgian Military highway to Kazbegi. Make short stops at Gudauri Viewpoint, also called the Friendship Monument and Jvari overpass travertine natural monument.
Reach Stepantsminda and hike or drive to Gergeti Holy Trinity Church. Enjoy stunning views of Mount Kazbek (5033 m).
Drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: DEPARTURE
Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure from Tbilisi.
